Stephanie Reitz of Associated Press reports on the growing use of iPad in public secondary school classrooms this fall, noting a “move away from textbooks in favor of the lightweight tablet computers.” Educator benefits range from using iPad for interactive demonstrations of math solutions to teaching children with autism spectrum disorders and learning disabilities. Principal Patrick Larkin of Boston’s Burlington High School calls iPad a better long-term investment than textbooks, saying, “The bottom line is that the iPads will give our kids a chance to use much more relevant materials.”
Will these decisions trigger thoughts and act as a domino effect, and will tablets gradually begin to replace textbooks in schools, just as some tablets might replace the good old newspapers? What will this mean? In twenty years will tablets have replaced all forms of books and paperwork? One thing is for sure, you can definitely carry much more on a tablet than any bag can. And an tablet is about the size of a book. In fifty years will everything in the world be run on operating systems?

So, as the wait for Apples iPhone five lengthens, we're getting a few more ideas over what we want it to be like. Rumours have been flying thick and fast for months.
Many people seem to want a longer battery life, bigger screen and a faster processor. Maybe the A5 processor from the iPad 2 may be added. A better reception maybe, sometimes the apple reception can be a bit slow.

But finally Apple has finally unveiled the date of a conference on October 4th, where the company will almost certainly unveil the iPhone 5.
The invitation hints that it will be one phone that is announced, which is likely to be the iPhone 5 rather than the much-discussed iPhone 4s.
